At first glance, the Slopes Building Set looks like a beautiful collection of colourful wooden blocks. Start building, though, and little ones soon discover that these aren't ordinary blocks.
Each piece has been created with a subtle tilt, turning simple stacking into a playful challenge of balance, shape, colour and problem-solving.
The set includes five colour families — red, yellow, blue, green and purple — with six blocks in each. The clever part? All six blocks within the same colour family share the same tilt angle, allowing them to fit together to form a complete rectangle.
Mix the colours and suddenly things aren't quite so straightforward.
Children can experiment, rotate, compare and rearrange the pieces as they work out which blocks belong together — discovering through play how angles and shapes interact.
More than just building
There is no single way to play with sloping blocks. Stack the pieces into towers, create colourful patterns, experiment with unusual structures or take on the challenge of completing each colour rectangle.
As children build and rebuild, they're naturally developing:
- Spatial awareness and visual reasoning
- Problem-solving and logical thinking
